Stranger Pays For Teens Meals For Not Looking At Phones

Eleven California high schoolers were offered a free prom dinner if they met one condition. As the teenagers sat down to enjoy a dinner at Double D Steak in Fortuna, the waiter approached them with a deal. A complete stranger offered to pay for their whole meal if they didn’t look at their cell phones the entire time. The friends agreed and gave their phones to the waiter, who held onto them until the dinner was finished. After the meal, an older gentleman came to the students' table and told them "he thought they were a beautiful group and it reminded him of when he was young," which is why he paid for their meals.
