At the next barbecue you attend, you may want to make sure you're drinking enough water. Penn State University researchers have found downing greasy food can trigger a feedback circuit in the brain, causing you to eat even more. That same area of the brain also controls binge drinking-- meaning eating ribs and potato chips could trigger you to also pound more beers than you might think. Neuroscientist and study co-author Yuval Siberman explains, "We think it's the eating behavior, and not the food itself, that may predispose to binge-drinking.
