A murder trial is underway in Orange County. 25-year old Manka Alonzo Melson, of Vinton,
is charged for the January 2021 shooting deaths of 18-year old Aaliyah Gradingo and 23-year old
Thalmus Livings at a home in the 2300 block of Coronado Place in Orange. Melson was arrested
in April of last year and jailed under a $2 million bond. The trial is taking place in Judge Rex
Peveto’s courtroom.
