Responding to a call of a trespasser with a gun Monday night at the Midtown Inn on North
11th Street in Beaumont, police arrested a man on multiple charges. 20-year old Gaven Kade
Butler had a possession warrant out of Orange County. He also had a stolen gun in his
wasteband. A shotgun and several drugs were also found in the room. Butler was transported to
the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
