There is an Asian group who call themselves the “Slants”. (You can’t make this up, folks.) They are trying to go all the way to the Supreme Court to allow their name to be used. Bear in mind, they are Asian. Bear in mind, that is a racist term. Bear in mind they won’t win because the term is racist even though the term was used at one time to defile Asian folks. Okay, I give up. Why is it African American entertainers over use the word that is racist and taboo for other folks to use? There is a remake of the Woody Harrelson movie “White men can’t jump” due for release in the near future. If someone tells me I can’t jump, is it a racist term because I am white? Wait a minute! I just jumped up from my chair while writing this and think I ruptured my sternal notch. But I jumped. 80 years old and I jumped. I’m white and I jumped. Is that not racist? Suppose I said Asian men can’t jump. What then? I mean, I don’t care if you say I can’t jump because I can. And I’m white. But I’m not upset. But I am injured. Now I have to see a doctor. Hope he’s not Asian after what I said.
