When you fill out one of those pesky brackets and you are not a basketball fan, it makes no difference. When you are an ardent fan and fail miserably as having your “bracket busted”, you resent the person next to you who knows nothing about the game and chooses the winners via team colors or mascot. It should infuriate you because it then shows you actually DO KNOW NOTHING about the game. For us seasoned professionals it gives us a chance, then, to root for the teams we like. Because of our so-called intellectual acumen regarding the game, we must fill out even the teams we hate, but once busted, then feel free to root for those you really like, regardless of colors or mascots. This year in addition to all of the Tigers, Lions and other assorted animals we have Musketeers, Jayhawks, Badger’s, Gators and others to ugly to mention. Here’s to another Final Four Flop.
