Do you remember when people used to inform you of a rate increase at least a month or two before it went in to effect? Me too. It doesn’t happen anymore. The cable companies and others, including the phone company just kind of slide it into your new bill. Then when you call, they simply say: “Moi”? Or they don’t speak English and transfer you to someone else? Yeah, that’s the way to do business. Now they have all sorts of room to stuff the bill with crap they want to sell you and if you call about that, they are so friendly that butter would melt in their mouths. (Which it would do anyway.) Then you switch topics to ask about the increase and they go blank. I have started re stuffing the bill with their own crap and send it back with the bill and an inquiry, which is never answered. Sniveling cowards. That’s what they are. End of gripe.
