70 years ago this week Howard Hughes produced a landmark film. It was called “The Outlaw”. It wasn’t your average western. It starred Jane Russell, who probably did more for the bra (brassiere) industry than any woman in the 20th century. The film was forgettable. Jane was not. She went on to a pretty good career, not as the busty brunette in the movie, but as a smart educated woman who used her assets to the best avail possible. Long live the off the shoulder peasant blouse. May is always show just enough, but not too much. A lesson to be learned by those who today, not only tell all but show all.
