“Promposal” is the new buzz word for prom cost. My grandson told me his date’s mother wanted to make sure his tux “coordinated” with her daughters dress. There’s the flowers, the dinner, the limo and who knows what else? Sometimes it’s the first and last date. It can cost between 900 and 2300.00. That’s a little over the top for me. What’s strange is households earning around fifty grand a year spend a thousand or less on the kid. Folks earning under 24,000 spend over two grand. Maybe this is why some folks grow old and penniless. I’m all for making sure the kids have a good time. I am also for sound reasoning and with the realization that it may be a one and only gig, I would spend less and take more pictures. Still a good memory.
