Many thought Jeff Sessions “session” went well yesterday. There were, of course, the non believers and those that called him  “racist”. I’d like to examine that term. Were we not all racist at one time? Think about it. We thought it perfectly normal that the only movie parts given to blacks were that of a butler or maid. (See Gone with the Wind…one of the stars was Butterfly Mc Queen. She played the part of a maid.)

How many Chinese were given movie parts other than Charlie Chan. How many Hispanics got leads in movies? How many of us criticized the Beatles for their “Long Hair”. Remember what we said about Mini skirts. People from the east coast ridiculed for saying “youse guys”, southerners for saying “you  all”.

Because Sessions was from Alabama, was or is he necessarily racist? How about they who call him that? Was there a time when they two participated but because they were from a northern state it couldn’t be possible? Remember the race riots in 1976? In Boston!! Maybe it’s time we looked in the mirror. Remember! Let he who is without sin…….
