The old saying: “You wake up in a different world everyday” used to refer to someone being slightly daffy. I guess we’re all daffy now because we are literally awakening to that very thing. Case in point: ISIS running over people in Barcelona and more than a dozen killed. A Missouri congresswoman wanting to assassinate the president and statues being taken down daily. It used to be  serious when a layman talked of killing the leader of the nation. Not any more. Sidewalk fatalities were a rarity. No longer. Statues   stood forever. Nope. Not today. Tom Yawkey owned the Boston Red Sox in the ‘40’s. He was the last baseball owner to employ and African American and also passed on the chance to get Jackie Robinson from the minor leagues. I guess that’s an offense too because now Yawkey drive alongside of Fenway Park where Boston plays ball is under siege to un-name said street because of his racial demeanor. I told you we wake up in a different world, EVERY DAY!!!!
