If everyone so desperately wants a little civility in today’s society, then let’s quit worrying about the “good” people who have guns and concentrate on the “bad” people. Unless you need a building to fall on you, it’s not hard to figure out, that the bad guys will get guns when they want. Answer this. Do they find drugs when they need them? Are they capable of smash and grabs from a convenience store in which they drag the ATMs out the door? Can they shoot old people, women and kids when they want to? Is Chicago the safest city in the country? If you answered no to any of these questions you need to check in at the nearest funny farm. Do we have peace in our time? Have we managed to stop abortions? Is there a way to protect yourself with a slingshot or Swiss Army Knife? Get real kids. It’s not Howdy Doody time. It’s time to protect thyself. The good Angels are all busy taking care of all the people who got shot with the guns you say are going to be grabbed by the good guys. Pipedream!!
