Here’s the latest flash for you. Front page, U.S.A. Today. “Americans more unhappy than ever.”
Amazing!! It took less than a year to transform us from a jolly, affable society into a snarky, hate-filled nation. It, of course, is Donald Trump’s fault. It is he and other old white men that are at the root of the problem. They never mention white women. I guess they’re OK. I’m married to one and have no complaints. As a matter of fact, I love a lot of folks. I know and love a lot of black folks, Hispanic folks and hmm….I don’t know too many Asians. I’ll have to work on that. I’ll try harder. I love my neighbors, all Italian food and a Merlot or two nightly. (always, two.) I love my animals and I love talking to people, all people. I probably need my head examined. Man, things were so great last year, I think. (Hard to remember.)
