Isn’t it refreshing to watch everybody in attendance (players included) enjoying the national anthem?
Some even singing along. Oh, I should mention its Major League Baseball. Wow!! It’s kind of spectacular. I’m sure there’s a reason. Maybe it’s because baseball is as American as apple pie. I think I’ve heard that somewhere before. Astros, Cubs, Dodgers, Yankees. Hmm. I guess we’ll have to study that. College football games, same thing. So much for that. My grandson plays in his high school band. One of the first songs they learned was the national anthem. Maybe yours does too. Isn’t it nice they don’t have to be told to love it? The Star Spangled Banner is a hard song to sing. But not to understand. Maybe we could teach that in school, also. Oh, wait. Political correctness, you know.
