I don’t know if there is such a thing as “destiny” and if there isn’t, maybe the Astros will crater in Los Angeles. If there is such a thing, they may prove it once and for all. How many times over the past week did you think they were done? Or that they were going to win? Hey, L.A. still has two chances to become WSC. (That’s world series champs.) If they don’t, a lot of folks will use the destiny word. But….5 hours and 17 minutes last night had whatever you wanted. Hoorahs, Hoorays and Help me, please. Wow!! What a finish. Looking at the faces of fans last night you could feel the extra push the Astros were getting from the delighted screams of a house full of orange. It was reminiscent of the “Love ya Blue” days of the Oilers at the old dome. That didn’t work out for the Oilers, OR THE DOME. It sure would be nice to have a happier ending this go round.
