Al's Morning Blog - January 19th, 2018

Wow. It’s been a whole year. Man, time flies when you’re having fun (or not). As of this morning, the earth was still rotating on its axis, the market is at 26,000, unemployment staggeringly low, gas still about 2.20 a gallon and a new tax bill seems to be helping big business hand out a bonus, the terrain has not yet burnt itself up and people are still shopping, buying and some are actually smiling. Here’s the bad part. The United Nations now knows we are bad people, we still don’t have completely open borders (but we’re working on it) and Hillary isn’t president. You still don’t have a complete overhaul of the food industry in terms of telling us we are eating poorly. We have insurance but it’s bad. Not nearly as good as that other thing Obama gave us. Oh, and England, Germany, Spain and about 99 percent of the free world hates us. They did eight years ago too but we were kissing their butt so they held their temper. So in essence, some things HAVE CHANGED for the better. Please don’t tell CNN.
