I guess I’ m not as smart as I thought I was. (Wow, do we all fit in that boat?) I read the latest statistics this morning on flu and flu-related sickness. My dad once told me about the flu or influenza outbreak of 1918. He was in the Army and confined to a bed where people dies overnight EVERY night. I know, now that flu kills almost as many people per year EVERY YEAR as auto accidents. Wash those hands and pray and then wash them again. A disproportionate amount of people right here in Texas are either sick, recovering or something worse. Know what cures the flu? Warm weather. Was that simple?
