“And the winner….er!!! The loser of the employee recognition award goes to ……..United Airlines…” After promising and giving bonuses to the majority of their more than 50,000 employees United decided instead to turn it into a lottery where you could “take a chance” by negating regular bonus of maybe a few hundred dollars guaranteed into a huge cash prize, a car, etc. Needless to say it “didn’t fly” (friendly skies, you know) with employees. I think UA has decided to go back the other way.
