This is probably a little thing to most but to me, huge. As in Trumpville, HUGE!! I don’t wear ties any longer. I haven’t worn one since my first win at the Marconi awards. Yesterday I had agreed to wear a tie. It lacked something so tore it off and instead just buttoned the top button on my dress shirt. It looked better than with the tie. Then some at church said I looked good. That does it. NMT. One thing I have noticed for the past years. Many do not dress for church. I know. Jesus wore sandals. I was always told by my mother to try and look good at church. I know it’s the message that’s important. I just can’t get over it. Granted I am over the hill. I still like to wear what I think appropriate to church. I guess it’s just me. (And a few other confused old men.)
