It’s rather idiotic to think we Americans can get along on anything, anymore. I know a few blowhard politicians, who in the past took offense at my political leanings, regardless of what they might be. It’s like telling a guy who works at Burger King that you like Wendy’s better. Or Texaco gas instead of Shell or tea instead of coffee. It’s a lot deeper now. If you like or dislike Donald Trump you now immediately cut off communications between you and that person. The venom and bad speak emulating from a former friend is shocking. As a kid, I hated the Dodgers but loved the Yankees but I still played with the Dodger fans. It’s to a point now that lifelong friendships are dissolved based on who you voted for. Insanity? Probably so, but I think things from here on in are going to be testy. Better invest in some body armor.
