I am so glad my mother was reasonably sane when she had me. She could have named me Murgatroyd or Biff or Blizzard or Gizzard or Penelope ( which is a great name for a lady but not for an Al or an Allan.) That’s the choices. Al or Allan. Easy. Not too abusive. Now, folks are naming their kids after kitchen utensils, and trees and bits of lint left from the dryer. One woman who loved the name Kaitlin but hated it was popular (WHAT?) took the first part of the name and added the roman numeral 8 because that was the date she was born. So KAITVIII is what this poor child is stuck with. Now you know why kids go after their moms with chain saws.
