Scary article in USA this morning. It’s not something we didn’t already know about. It’s just something we don’t want to know about. Computerization. Like human error, computers are in the same category. Ever had a car forever? Ever have a TV that quit working? Toaster that won’t toast. Fridge that won’t fridge.They become like old dogs and old men and women. Sometimes the new gadget that seems to be so good has faults. Like, we didn’t know this? Every bot is going to work everytime?No!! Aint gonna happen. Pilots are getting the jitters that the planes they fly are out of their realm. Driverless cars?
Completely? Some day, but it would seem not yet. As wonderful as today’s science is and the need for horse and carriage gone, just remember this. Failure is not an option. It’s a result of everything not working right. Just remember when you are at 35,000 feet you are not completely 100 percent safe. Not trying to scare……just be aware. Cars can go fast enough to kill you. Anything with moving parts that is not 100 percent human will fail at some point. So will us humans. Just a little something extra to worry about.
