Life is not a bowl of cherries as you were told as a youngster. It’s tough. There will be lots of hard knocks that come your way, unless you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth. That, of course would impede your ability to speak. Thanks to citizens with disabilities you would somehow be taken care of. If you go through life with blinders on, again things would be difficult, with your bumping into all sorts of alien objects. If you were born with eyes in the back of your head, as I once swore my mother was, things would be great in retrospect. Actually they would be in reverse as you would not be able to see what was coming in front of you. If you were stricken with the horrible “eyes are bigger than your belly”, that too, could pose a problem. Sticking your nose in someone else’s business could be terrifying and I don’t even want to go into that. Holding your nose up in the air could be difficult during the rainy season and keeping your ears open would be….well, I thought our ears were already that way. Told you, life can be difficult. So be careful where you step. And of course, carry a big stick.
