Believe not of what you hear and only half of what you see. I don’t know. Either Ben Franklin or Edgar Allan Poe. I think they both take credit for it and deservedly so. Ads and products are funny. You buy something expensive because it’s “quality” and you can still get screwed. Five star restaurant and the soup is cold and the service lousy. Not the norm, but possible. Hottest ticket to a Broadway show and you define it as a bomb as you leave the theatre. Lifetime guarantee? That’s BS. Lifetime of what? The life of the company? If they go under, there’s your guarantee. I bought a pair of Italian shoes a few years back. The shoelaces are the worst I have ever had. My wife just bought me a pair of “No Bull’s”. Great shoes. Comfortable. Why can’t they stay tied? Is it me? Should I be tied down? I thought I already was. Think about quality and untied shoes next time you get ready for a fancy meal or a Rolls Royce.
