Felicity has become a household name, especially when the last name is Huffman. Give her credit. She is taking her medicine. Two weeks in jail, community service, etc. she appeared before the judge in full apology mode. Comes now Lara Laughlin who is a little less contrite. No apology, no nothing. What will the judge assess her for her outlandish behavior? It should be interesting. There’s always been the double standard for people of privilege and those who are the unwashed masses. The world is watching and so is Hollywood. I would imagine more than one big name was shocked to hear about the jail time for Ms. Huffman, regardless of it being a short sentence. From the Nicholson cracking a windshield with a golf club to the Baldwin threat regarding a parking spot, it’s always been the slight slap on the hands and forgiving. I don’t think this one is going to go well for Lara. “Lara’s Theme” (Dr. Zhivago) might well sing another tune this time around.
