Al's Morning Blog--August 5, 2022--Brittney Griner

The jury is no longer out on Brittny Griner. The jury has spoken, and whether you want to blame it on the US strained relations with Moscow, or the fact she isn't above the law-- or she's a gold medal winner and shouldn't be treated that way--there could be prison time. The ironic blowback for the young lady is something we have talked about long and strong. She does not like this country, has denounced the flag and the National anthem, and all of us who do love this land. She did something that is illegal where she is and should have known that they feel about her and our land, the same way she feels about us. Who wins? Actually no one. They get an aha moment, she gets jail time and we are put in an unfortunate position of trying to bail her out. Add to that, the swap which releases a dirt bag back to them and even they lose. I do not know if the final buzzer has sounded, but one thing is for sure--Brittany just got time out.
