Someone much more hip that I once said, "How can it be hot as hell in the summer and cold as hell in the winter"? Well, it can. End of story. Well, not really. We went two or three summers without the temp getting to 100 here in southeast Texas. Of course, no one said it was a pretty mild summer. We all talk the talk but do not walk the walk. The global warmer folks are beating the drum louder than ever. Of course, the Maui situation has been brought into question. Everything, all things, every day is GW. This last week we broke records set in 1936 and 1937. Did you get that? 87 years ago. That was pre global warming, I guess. The media is carrying the water (wish they would give us some) for the climate change folks since Al Gore said the world was going to end by 2013. The only thing that ended was the belief that he and Michael Moore had. Run the AC and pray for rain. There's a novel idea.
