Does anyone really care who the new president at Harvard will be? I don't and you probably do not either. It's a big deal in the media and I am sure the other Al (Sharpton) will. He will probably have guns drawn, ready to fire at anyone close enough to see the whites of their eyes. Actually, that should be skin. If it is someone like ....say....an Asian, that would not be good. We have an Asian mayor in Boston (where Harvard is located) but it all ends there. DEI will have something to say about that. What happened to "best qualified for the job, regardless of background?"
Isn't that what got us to the supposed good point in time that we all hoped for? Being president of any corporation is a big task. It should consist of someone who has good ethical standards as well as a good head for business. After all, the Crimson goes back to 1650. It's a 50 billion dollar baby and as such deserves a man...or a woman...Black, Hispanic, Asian, Samoan Islander , native American or (not likely) white. Qualified. After all, it is Harvard.
